After working quite some time with the 5312, a professional contractor, states that it is the most effective machine on the market. The saw’s angles and detents were accurate right out of the box. He found no need to adjust them. The only time he has ever had to adjust the saw was after it fell off a deck. Yet even after the 9 foot fall the saw hardly had a dent—proving it is also extremely durable. This reviewer also finds that the upfront controls make tilting the powerhead a breeze. According to him, trim, baseboards and crown moulding can be cut fast and easily.
Another reviewer would concur that the angles of the Bosch are extremely accurate. As he is not very good at math, he loves that all the angles are clearly marked out and that there are many “stops” for accurate angles. It doesn’t require a lot of deliberation and thought to choose the correct angle.
